π LRRP_CraftBook β CFX Description
π₯ LRRP_CraftBook | Dynamic Crafting System | VORP + RSG | FREE + PREMIUM
LRRP_CraftBook is a fully dynamic crafting system for RedM, built around an immersive leather-bound crafting book.
Instead of adding every new recipe by editing Lua files, authorised admins can manage the crafting system directly from inside the game.
Create categories, select existing server items, build recipes, configure ingredients, choose outputs and publish new crafts β all from the CraftBook.
π DYNAMIC CRAFTING BOOK
π₯© Create Food recipes
β Create Drink recipes
βοΈ Add entirely new crafting categories
π¦ Select items already registered on the server
π§Ί Add existing database items as new craftable outputs
π§Ύ Add multiple ingredients and quantities
βοΈ Create, edit and delete recipes in-game
π Searchable item selection
πΎ Categories and recipes persist in SQL
π Changes become available without restarting the resource
CraftBook does not invent unregistered inventory items. Admins select items already available through the connected server inventory/item system and can turn them into new recipes and craftable outputs.
π ADMIN CRAFTING SYSTEM
The Admin CraftBook provides server-authorised management for recipes and categories.
Admins can configure recipe names, descriptions, output items, output amounts, ingredients, ingredient quantities, categories, fire usage and job requirements without exposing the protected crafting core.
Admin access is validated server-side.
πΌ UNIVERSAL JOB SUPPORT
CraftBook is designed to work beyond one specific jobs resource.
β
VORP support
β
RSG support
β
LRRP integrations
β
Custom job hooks
β
Configurable exports/integrations
β
Job restrictions
β
Minimum job grade
β
On-duty requirements
This allows a server to connect its own job system without rewriting the protected CraftBook core.
π PHYSICAL CRAFTING BOOK
A real craftbook inventory item is included.
Players can use the Crafting Book directly from their inventory to open the UI.
The book is not consumed when used.
Players can also use:
/craftbook
and the optional default F6 key mapping.
VORP receives the duplicate-safe craftbook item through the included SQL.
RSG installations include the ready-to-add Shared.Items entry and craftbook.png inventory image.
π― LRRP_MINIGAME INTEGRATION
CraftBook uses the separate:
LRRP_Minigame
resource.
By default, crafting requires 3 successful skill-check hits.
β
Hit 1
β
Hit 2
β
Hit 3 β Craft succeeds
β Miss once β Craft fails
β Timer expires β Craft fails
Failed skill checks do not remove the player's ingredients.
The server validates the recipe, requirements and inventory again before awarding the crafted item.
π₯ DYNAMIC CRAFTING FIRE
Fire-enabled recipes create a physical crafting fire in the world.
When the player successfully crafts:
π₯ Campfire appears
β±οΈ Fire remains for 30 seconds
π Player can continue crafting at the same fire
β»οΈ Another successful craft resets the existing fire to 30 seconds
π« It does not continuously spawn additional fires
πͺ΅ After inactivity, the fire disappears
π A burned-out ash visual remains on the ground temporarily
The fire lifetime and ash behaviour are configurable.
π FREE EDITION
The Free edition includes the dynamic CraftBook system but is limited to:
5 successful crafts globally/server-wide every 24 hours.
This is not 5 per player.
The allowance is shared by the entire server and persists through restarts.
Failed or cancelled crafts do not use the allowance.
Once the five successful crafts have been used:
βPlease upgrade to Premiumβ
is displayed when another craft is attempted.
The Free edition also contains integrated LRRP branding within the CraftBook design.
π PREMIUM EDITION
Premium removes the global crafting restriction:
βΎοΈ Unlimited crafting
πΌοΈ Optional custom CraftBook logo
βοΈ Full configurable crafting system
π Dynamic recipes and categories
πΌ Universal job integrations
π₯ Crafting fire system
π― LRRP_Minigame integration
π In-game admin management
ποΈ DATABASE
The included SQL creates the required CraftBook tables and includes the VORP craftbook inventory item using a duplicate-safe installation method.
RSG users receive the corresponding Shared.Items definition because RSG registers items differently.
Starter Food & Drink categories are included. Starter recipes are only created where their referenced server items actually exist.
π REQUIRED RESOURCE NAME
The resource MUST remain named:
LRRP_CraftBook
Renaming the resource prevents normal initialisation.
