LRRP Characters Free is a complete replacement for the standard VORP character resource, featuring a custom old-western torn-paper interface across character selection, character creation, appearance editing and clothing customisation.

The entire interface has been redesigned to feel more immersive within RedM while preserving the existing VORP character flow, database structure and compatibility events.

The Free edition supports one newly created character. Players who already had multiple characters before installing the resource will keep access to all of their existing characters, but they will not be able to create additional characters unless they upgrade to Premium.

Free-edition character limit

• One newly created character.
• Character limit is validated server-side.

• Attempting to create an additional character displays a Premium upgrade notification.
• The Free edition includes fixed LRRP branding.

Selector-location presets

The resource includes:

• Default: vanilla-safe exterior location requiring no MLO.
• Spooni St Denis Nightclub: optional selector preset for servers using Spooni’s nightclub MLO.
• Custom: configurable positions for another MLO or selector scene.

Spooni’s nightclub is optional and is not required for the resource to start.

Job-system compatibility

The included integration bridge supports:

• LRRP job systems.
• Standard VORP character jobs.
• Custom job resources.

LRRP integration is supplied as the default option, but no private LRRP job resource is required. Server owners can edit the accessible job bridge to connect their own job script.

Compatibility

• Preserves standard VORP character data.
• Preserves existing VORP character events.
• Includes provide 'vorp_character' for resource compatibility.
• Includes public character-created, selected, deleted and logout hooks.
• Does not require any additional private LRRP resources.

Installation

1. Back up your current character resource and database.
2. Delete or disable vorp_character or vorp_characters.
3. Copy the included LRRP_Characters folder into your resources directory.
4. Import install.sql.
5. Add ensure LRRP_Characters after the required VORP resources.
6. Do not run vorp_character and LRRP_Characters together.
