Give your gunsmiths a professional, immersive weapon-customisation system built specifically for RedM and VORP.

LRRP Gun Menu allows authorised gunsmiths to preview and apply weapon components through a detailed old-west parchment interface. Players can see their weapon clearly while browsing compatible stocks, grips, sights, metals, engravings, wraps and other available customisations.

Every component change is priced individually, with a default cost of $25 per changed component. The price and accepted gunsmith jobs can be configured through the included public configuration file.

Gunsmith Job Integration

The resource uses LRRP_jobs by default and recognises gunsmith workplaces whose job key, family or associated skill matches the configured gunsmith term.

Server owners may configure:

  • Accepted gunsmith job names
  • Exact or partial job-name matching
  • Minimum required job grade
  • Active-employment exports
  • Job-definition exports
  • A custom access export
  • VORP job fallback

LRRP_jobs is supported by default but is not a hard dependency. Another compatible job resource may be used by changing the public configuration.

Editable Configuration

Only the following public configuration file is intentionally excluded from Asset Escrow:

config/public_config.json

This allows server owners to configure their gunsmith integration and component price without exposing the protected resource logic.

Default component price:

$25 per changed component

The final price is calculated and validated by the server. Client-submitted totals are never trusted.

Security

The resource validates:


  • Gunsmith employment and grade

  • Distance from the gunsmith location

  • Weapon ownership

  • Compatible weapon components

  • The number of components changed

  • The final cash price

  • Database save completion

The branded interface, logo and protected resource files include integrity validation. Modified protected files will prevent the gun menu from operating until the original files are restored.

Installation


  1. Keep the resource folder named LRRP_GunMenu.

  2. Import weapons.sql where the required database additions are not already installed.

  3. Configure config/public_config.json.

  4. Add ensure LRRP_GunMenu after VORP, VORP Inventory, oxmysql and the selected jobs resource.

  5. Restart the server.
